Whereas, the admission committee at UC San Diego has helped me a lot. They lifted the hold on my registration for the 2017-18 year. They have covered up for the mess Savitribai Phule Pune University and VIT, Pune has made.
The school was good. I liked their huge library and their creative statues, but the school seemed to big for me and easy to get lost in for freshman. The tour we had was pretty fast and tiring. What also bummed me out was that the Book store closed pretty early and I didn't get to buy anything :(
Great school in such a beautiful place. It used to be really hard to get in this school (not sure about now). All my friends who graduated this school are now doing great job.
My institute in India (VIT, Pune), hasn’t been responsive at all. I wanted to get a ‘Provisional Degree Certificate’ or at least an email saying that the ‘Passing Certificate’ is an equivalent of the provisional degree certificate. I haven’t received any reply from the registrar of VIT. It’s been over a month.
I have to say UCSD is a nice campus and the students are great. However, if your ever looking for a job there at least with facilities management "DONT DO IT", I used to work there and the management there are a bunch of clowns I got along with most of the people there but there are a lot of trouble makers there always ready to try and get you into trouble even if your doing nothing wrong so they can try to manipulate the leads or supervisor for there own gain. The supervisors there are ok but like the general workers you have a lot of smile in your face and stab you in the back type of supervisors there so just be very careful if you do decide to work there, or be really good at kissing butt to get ahead.
